Utrata smartfonów a subiektywny poziom stresu osób przebywających w zamknięciu w sytuacji zagrożenia – wyniki badań sondażowych zrealizowanych w schronie

Streszczenie

Badania eksperymentalne przeprowadzone w bunkrze znajdującym się na terenie Szkoły Wyższej Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości (obecnie Akademii Wymiaru Sprawiedliwości) w Kaliszu były pierwszym tego rodzaju przedsięwzięciem w Polsce. Dotyczyły one ochrony życia w warunkach zagrożenia. 60 uczestników eksperymentu zostało pozbawionych smartfonów i przebywało 12 h w warunkach bunkrowych. W ramach pojętej procedury zrealizowano szereg działań, w tym badania sondażowe na temat utraty smartfonów oraz poziomu stresu z tym związanego.  Analiza danych wykazała, że większość uczestników doświadczyła niskiego poziomu stresu po utracie urządzenia, co może być związane z wykonywanym przez nich zawodem. Najbardziej problematyczna dla badanych, a wynikająca z konfiskaty sprzętu okazała się utrata kontaktu z rodziną, czy przyjaciółmi. W badaniach wykazano między innymi, że istnieje wysoka korelacja pomiędzy poziomem stresu odczuwanego w chwili konfiskaty smartfona, a charakterem pierwszej myśli, pojawiającej się po jego odebraniu. Zidentyfikowano także wysoką korelację pomiędzy faktem posiadania dzieci a stopniem odczuwanego niepokoju związanego z konfiskatą smartfona. Analiza reakcji pojawiających się po odebraniu smartfona wykazała ich wpływ na ogólny stan uczestników. Badania pozwoliły na poznanie reakcji osób w warunkach przebywania w izolacji w schronie.

Smartphone Loss and the Subjective Stress Levels of Individuals Enclosed in a Threatening Situation – Results of Survey Research conducted in a Shelter

Summary

Experimental research conducted in a bunker located at the Higher School of Justice (currently the Academy of Justice) in Kalisz was the first initiative of its kind in Poland. It focused on life protection in threat conditions. Sixty participants in the experiment were deprived of smartphones and spent 12 hours in bunker conditions. As part of the adopted procedure, various activities were carried out, including surveys on smartphone loss and the associated stress levels. Data analysis revealed that the majority of participants experienced a low level of stress after losing their devices, which may be related to their professions. The most problematic aspect for the participants, resulting from the confiscation of devices, was the loss of contact with family and friends. The research also demonstrated, among other things, a high correlation between the stress level felt at the time of smartphone confiscation and the nature of the first thought that appeared after its removal. A strong correlation was also identified between having children and the degree of anxiety related to smartphone confiscation. The analysis of reactions after the smartphone confiscation showed their impact on the overall state of the participants. The research allowed to understand the reactions of individuals in isolation conditions in the shelter.
