Streszczenie

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie zagadnień związanych ze zbiorowym protestem osadzonych, który miał miejsce 5 listopada 1981 r. w Zakładzie Karnym w Kamińsku. Prezentowany artykuł  podejmuje próbę opisania i wyjaśnienia szerokiego spektrum przyczyn oraz skutków, które przyczyniły się do wybuchu zbiorowego wystąpienia osadzonych w Zakładzie Karnym w Kamińsku. W pierwszej części artykułu opisany został zarys historii Zakładu Karnego w Kamińsku. Następnie omówiony został szczegółowy przebieg oraz skutki zbiorowego protestu osadzonych w Kamińsku. W dalszej części artykułu przeanalizowane zostały przyczyny, które miały wpływ na wybuch buntu.

The Inmate Rebellion at the Prison in Kamińsk on November 5, 1981 - Causes, Course of Events, and Consequences

Summary

The purpose of this article is to present the issues related to the collective protest of prisoners, which took place on 5 November 1981 in the Kaminsk prison. The presented article attempts to describe and explain a wide range of causes and effects that contributed to the outbreak of a collective uprising of inmates in the Kaminsk prison. The first part of the article describes the history of the prison in Kaminsk. Then the detailed course and effects of the collective protest of prisoners in Kaminsk were presented. The reasons that influenced the outbreak of the rebellion are analyzed further in the article. This work is supplemented by the archival photographs included in the annex, which show the condition of the buildings and grounds of Kaminsk prison after the end of the protests of inmates.
