Streszczenie

Zasadniczym celem artykułu jest próba odpowiedzi na pytania dotyczące roli stanowiska monitorowego w systemie bezpieczeństwa jednostki penitencjarnej. Podjęta została także próba wskazania trudności i problemów związanych z organizacją i realizacją zadań na tym stanowisku. Ponadto przytoczone i omówione zostały wybrane regulacje prawne Służby Więziennej związane z ramową działalnością działu ochrony, w którego to gestii leży organizacja stanowiska. Jako zaczyn do dalszej dyskusji zasygnalizowano także ewentualną rolę monitorowego w strukturze stanowisk tworzonych kompleksów penitencjarnych finansowanych z Norweskiego Mechanizmu Finansowego.

Monitor − role and tasks in the penitentiary security system

Summary

In the presented work, I try to answer the questions about the role of the monitoring stand in the security system of a penitentiary establishment. An attempt was also made to indicate the difficulties and problems related to the organization and implementation of tasks in this position. In addition, the regulations of the Prison Service related to the framework activity of the security department, which is responsible for the organization of the position, were cited and discussed.As a starting point for further discussion, the possible role of the monitor in the structure of positions of the created penitentiary complexes financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism was also signaled.
